Where to pray around campus

The university offers a number of designated prayer spaces spread across campus. They are often labelled as 'quiet rooms' and are open to people of all faiths. This article aims to highlight a few:

Main campus

1. centre for student life, fourth floor

The CSL has 2 prayer rooms and an area for ablution/Wudhu in the toilets opposite

2. Student union, 3rd floor lounge

3. Optometry building, first floor

4. Arts and social studies library, ground floor

This prayer room has the added benefit of being open 24/7

5. Queens building, S2.28

6. Business centre, room 2.23

7. Glamorgan, room 1.77 and -0.77 from 13:00 to 14:00

8. Main building

ask reception for a key card and directions. 

9. Sir Martin Evans, ask reception for directions 

10. Psychology building, room 9.03, access card required from reception

Heath Campus

10. University hospital wales, the mosque is on level B5 

 bonus if on placement in royal gwent hospital in newport, they also have a prayer room

Nearby mosques for congregational prayer include Al-Manar and Darul-Isra.
