Bute Park
Description: Just behind the Talybont university residences, this huge park, with the River Taff bisecting it, is perfect for a student getaway once or twice a week. It has rugby and football fields as well as running and cycling tracks. There are also countless beautiful picnic spots. Hailey Park

Llandaff Fields
Description: Next to Bute Park, Llandaff Fields comprises multiple sports pitches, some of which are free and open to use while others are bookable. There are also several tennis courts that are open all year round and free to use. Like most of the other parks, there are running and cycling paths and nice picnic spots. Roath Park
Description: For many, the highlight of Roath Park is the Lake with its quacking ducks and majestic swans, but the Botanic Garden is also worthy of a visit.
